The owner of the secret garden
Sherry moved to Peng Chau when she was 2 years old, and her first job is in the leather factory, that is the original face of the Secret Garden. She wants to use her art power to bring positive power to others and to keep the place with art.
Joey
The artist in Secret Garden
Jowie is the assistant of Sherry. He is a architecture artist. A lot of art works is created by him. He loves working with Sherry, and they have the same target and thought in art.
About the Garden
The venue of the Secret Garden is originally the Leather Factory, which Sherry's first job is also in the Leather Factory. Later, due to the lacking of resources delivery, the Leather Factory close down . The venue here is the grade 3 historic building in Hong Kong, so it is a treasure and worth to keep well. Therefore, Sherry wants to use her way to keep this place, which is ART. Moreover, she wants to do something she love and give back to society. So, she made this place "My Secret Garden", she spent 7 years and over $3oo0000. She used some recycle materials to make her art works here, she thinks real creations would not be limited by what materials they use, anything can also be used to create. If using some recycle materials, this is called "up-cycle", and she is happy for making "rubbish" to treasure.
Though her place, she would love to bring the atmosphere of the nature and the positive power. She hopes everyone come to this place with appreciation and help to spread Peng Chau's culture.
You have to go inside through the narrow alley. In the alley, you would feel uncomfortable and scare, because it is dark and narrow, but when you pass through it, you will suddenly feel different. A bright, artistic, beautiful place appear. The alley act like a time tunnel that bring you to another space. Inside the garden, you will find a lot of art works here, and each of them also have its own meaning for people to reflect.
Yet, the art pieces here would always change, depends on the mood of Joey, the festival, the season, so every time when you come, you would also have new feelings.

Sherry held the art gallery to gather the artist on the island and give them a chance to show their art pieces. There are 30 artists' works have been shown.

When you stand in front of the mirror, the thing you can see is yourself. This work want to tell that "you" are the most important thing in your life, you have to know yourself and believe yourself.

"You" Mirror
Each picture frame means one part or one dream of your life. Sherry wants to ask people to love their life. Moreover to reach your dream as hard as you can, this is a good life style.
"Theme up your life"
This big chair is made by a lot pieces of separate woods. Joey used a long time to make it. Since the wood are difficult to join them together.

This art work used some card board to make. It demonstrate the building in the urban area, since in Peng Chau there are not much high building, so the artist want to make one by himself.

Sherry wants the visitors to see the big tree, so she decorate the tree as a tree house, and rent it on Airbnb

This work is called the Christmas Tree. Sherry said since Christmas Tree give a sense of hope, she would like to give this message and this works is made with chairs to form a tree shape. On the top, there is a red chair, this is the most treasure thing like the star on Christmas tree. The Dream.

Each cup contains one memory, the place you went, you do. You can put anything inside the cup. Flowers, stones...
In conclude, it is the best memory inside.

This paper cup lamp is made with the paper cup that cannot be used again. Though creation and creativity, you can make something seen as rubbish to a special decoration. This is the power of creation.

This is the bike place near the grass floor. This is also a old bike of Sherry, she change the bike as a beautiful work by painting and decorating. This make the place more comfortable as well.
